The Butterfly Effect empowers women in water sports through a non-competitive event. We are the original water woman movement that focuses on sport, health, fitness and giving back to local charities.

The “Butterflies” are the women participants. These women love seeking adventure, challenge, and asserting their femininity during sports. They also have a passion for giving back to the world, expressed through each of the Butterfly Effect’s events.

THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT EVENT DAY
The Butterfly Effect events create an environment where participants receive a sense of comfort and confidence to achieve a goal in a group setting. They all receive support and encouragement from other participants. Every “Butterfly” is empowered with more confidence and joy, that enhances not only their board riding skills, but also their navigation through everyday life.
♥ Community Give-Back (ex: beach clean up, clothing donation, free clinics, fundraising, etc.)
♥ Intro to yoga and warm up stretch prior entering the water/snow
♥ Downwinder! (A downwinder is when the rider starts at one point and ends up at another point downwind of their original location, this event usually has a distance of at least 3-miles in the ocean)
♥ Celebration with sponsor swag, food, drinks, music, and fashion show. Everybody is a winner!

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. You may not give or sell your race number or entry to anyone else. You also may not transfer your application to the following year. If the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control such an act of nature, terrorist threat, act of war, etc. there will be no refunds.
